ABOUT
Born in Huntington Beach, California, Kasey Barros grew up constantly surrounded by music. Going into high school with a few years of private guitar lessons under his belt, he was accepted to the Academy of Performing Arts (APA) - a magnet program dedicated to honing your craft and sound as a musician. Kasey spent the next four years continually growing as a guitar player and musician as a whole. Throughout his tenure at APA he was exposed to unique musical opportunities such as performing at the yearly National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) convention and traveling to Europe to perform at the famed Jacaranda club in Liverpool - a venue frequented by the Beatles in their early history.
Kasey moved to Nashville, Tennessee to study music at Belmont University in 2016. During his time at Belmont, Kasey wrote, produced, shot music videos for, and recorded two full albums under the name ‘Red Lighthouse’ alongside some of the best up-and-coming musicians in Nashville. Red Lighthouse served as a musical passion project where he explored instrumental funk, jazz-fusion, and rock. In addition to the Red Lighthouse project, Kasey spent his time in Nashville working as a hired-gun session musician and live performer.

Currently based in San Diego, Kasey works full-time as a Jr. Creative Manager for Score a Score - a company dedicated to providing producers, creative agencies, music supervisors, etc. boutique original music and access to the composers who create it.
